Hello and welcome to my website.

 

My name is Hugo Milesi, I am a bladesmith from France in a town called Isle-sur-La-Sorgue in the department of Vaucluse, south of France.

 

Here you will find my knives for sale, a gallery of old creations and my contacts.

 

I learned woodworking at Laney College in Oakland, California.

 

But it is during blacksmithing and bladesmithing course at Couleurs de Forge in Pierrelatte (department of Drôme) that I fell in love with forging, especially bladesmithing.

 

 

I have now been working alone since 2021. 

All of my creations are made by myself in my shop except for the raw materials like steel and handle materials.

 

All my blades are forged with the help of a coal forge, a hammer/anvil and a power hammer.

 

The rest of the work is done using many tools, for example a backstand/belt grinder (machine with abrasive belts), a drill press, sandpaper... and one of the most important machines, the heat treating oven that will optimize the steel properties.
